Aspects of the work of God in Romans
In the epistle to the Romans, we find four aspects of the work of God in connection with man : up to chapter 5 verse 11, it’s the work of God for us; from chapter 5 verse 12 to the end of chapter 7, it’s the work of God in us; in chapter 8 it is what God has done with us; and from chapter 12 to the end, it ’s the work of God through us. Chapters 9 to 11 are a parenthesis giving the work of God for Israel and the nations.
